DIY: Off The Shoulder Button Down
Off The Shoulder (or better known as OTS) has been taking over the fashion world for a few seasons now. We saw it last summer and now it’s back… to stay! With celebs like RiRi rocking the look, you know we all have to try it. My favorite is the OTS Button Down. It takes the classic button down (which never goes out of style) and makes it sexy.
After doing some research, I came to the conclusion that some brands are selling this trend for way too much money. So, like any thrifty blogger; I created an easy peasy look with a button down I picked up Goodwill. Check out my tutorial!
· You want to start by using a button down that is a bit oversize on you. The bigger the shirt, the more room you have with the fabric.
· Unbutton a few of the top buttons so you can lay the colar “off your shoulders”. Tuck in the collar for a seamless look.
· Once you get it sitting the way you feel comfy, you can add a belt to give your look more structure. (feel free to tuck any area that is sticking out under)
Voila! You just created a look that can run about $45 for NOTHING!
